Packaging and Labelling of Leaflets

All leaflets must be securely boxed or packaged in equal quantities throughout with each box or package weighing no more than 12 kilos. Leaflets will not be accepted if they are not boxed or packaged as required. Please note that if sending in brochures/magazines that are not boxed, the items are to be cross-strapped. If Mortimers deem an item to be undeliverable by its packaging, it may be refused or a charge may be issued to re-package.

All boxes or packages must be clearly labelled as to their content and version (if applicable), the number of copies within and the date for distribution. A charge will be made should boxes or packages not be labelled as required.

Delivery Deadlines to the Mortimers Warehouse

All leaflets must be received at the Mortimers warehouse in Dunstable by 1200 midday the Wednesday of the week prior to the distribution, and not before the Monday.

When Delivering to Mortimers

All deliveries into the Mortimers warehouse must be accompanied by a delivery note. The delivery note must have the minimum detail of the Leaflet Title, Leaflet Versions and quantities for each (if applicable), Leaflet Size, Total Number of Boxes, the Quantity of Leaflets per Box/Package and the Date of Delivery.

Mortimers will provide a stock receipt where no delivery note is provided. All goods are signed for “unchecked”. Mortimers will not be responsible for any quantity shortages within the boxes or packages.
